Large Format Color Exposure

Sheet film, color negative and transparency. Enter your meter reading, working aperture, bellows draw and filters; the page carries the exposure through bellows factor, filter factors and the film's reciprocity correction, with any color-compensating filter the maker recommends.

This film: notes and source

Bellows factor is (extension ÷ focal length)², with extension measured from the lens board to the film plane; that is close enough for the near-symmetrical lenses usual on a press or field camera, and wrong for telephoto designs. Reciprocity rows marked published come straight from the maker's data sheet; interpolated rows sit between published points; estimates come from community testing and are flagged. Makers give their corrections as a starting point and recommend test exposures for critical work.
